15 February - Mark your Diaries

International Angelman Day (IAD) is an annual event held on 15 February. It is observed by over 50 international organisations around the world, who all support people with Angelman syndrome, their families and caregivers.

We celebrate on the 15 February in recognition of the 15th chromosome being affected in Angelman syndrome, and February as it is International Rare Disease month.

Each year ASAA organises events across Australia to bring our community together to celebrate our loved ones living with AS, raise awareness of this rare disease, and remember those who are no longer with us.

Contact us for information about events or to raise awareness for IAD or Rare Disease month here.
